Kitesurf lessons in Ceará: Preá, Jeri & Guriú
Our school sits at Barrinha de Baixo and the whole corridor is the classroom: the flat lagoon by the base, Preá beach and the mirror river of Guriú, picked daily by wind and tide.
Our Brazilian base is in Barrinha de Baixo, next door to Preá, and runs from July to January: trade wind almost every day, 27 °C water and a rash vest instead of a wetsuit. On this corridor you don't pick a spot for the week — you pick one for the afternoon, so lessons move with wind and tide. We pick you up in Preá or Jericoacoara and drop you back after the session.
Barrinha de Baixo, the base
Home of the school and where most lessons happen. At low tide a huge, completely flat lagoon opens up, with cleaner wind and fewer people than Preá: the best learning spot on the corridor.
Preá, the classic beach
The long, windy beach that made the corridor famous, ten kilometres from the base. Once your first runs are in, Preá is the natural next step: more wind, some shore break and plenty of space.
Guriú, the mirror river
A river between dunes and mangroves that turns to glass. It hosts the KiteGuru Brasil Experience and we teach here too: riding upwind, transitions and foil on mirror-flat water.

Each point of the corridor has its own page, with the logistics told from there: lessons from Preá, lessons from Jericoacoara — pickup included in both —, the guided downwinder for independent riders and wingfoil lessons on the same lagoon.
How our lessons work
Consecutive blocks with the same instructor, a maximum of two students per instructor, a helmet radio from the first session so we can coach you inside the water, and video analysis so you see what you are fixing. All gear comes from the school, and lessons run in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian or French — tell us yours when you book. Our corridor base is Barrinha de Baixo.

Where exactly do the lessons happen?
The base is at Barrinha de Baixo (Acaraú) and lessons spread along the corridor: the Barrinha lagoon for first levels, Preá when you need more wind, and Guriú for glassy river water. The day's spot follows wind and tide, confirmed over WhatsApp.
Can I take lessons outside the kite trip?
Yes. Through the season we teach anyone staying in the area, and the Brasil Experience is the full package: a closed week with accommodation in Guriú, lessons, gear and a photographer.
What languages do you teach in?
English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian or French — tell us yours when you book and we match you with your instructor.
