Guided downwinder: Barrinha to Jericoacoara
The Aranaú-to-Jeri corridor is one of the most beautiful downwind runs on the planet. You ride; the route, the guide on the water and the pickup at the end are on us.
If you ride independently, this corridor isn't meant to be enjoyed from one spot — it's meant to be ridden down, linking the Barrinha lagoon, Preá beach, the Guriú river and the dunes into Jericoacoara with the trade wind always at your back. It's the ride that justifies the flight to Brazil.
We run it guided: an instructor rides with you calling the line — where to open out, where to cut in, which river mouth to respect — and the end-of-run logistics are solved: we collect you where the route ends and drive you back to your town. Route and distance are picked on the day, by wind and tide.

How our lessons work
Consecutive blocks with the same instructor, a maximum of two students per instructor, a helmet radio from the first session so we can coach you inside the water, and video analysis so you see what you are fixing. All gear comes from the school, and lessons run in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian or French — tell us yours when you book. Our corridor base is Barrinha de Baixo.

What level do I need?
Independent riding: solid waterstart both sides and steady upwind. No jumping or wave riding required — the guide draws a line for your level. Not there yet? A few lagoon lessons will get you ready.
What if the wind dies or I break gear mid-route?
The guide rides with you rather than watching from the beach, and the route is chosen against the day's forecast precisely so that doesn't happen. Safety details and pickup points for each leg are covered in the briefing before launch.
Can I ride my own gear?
Of course — that's the usual way. Coming without it? You use the school's: send your weight and level over WhatsApp and it will be ready.
